Governor Roy Cooper has put up $5,000 to help find the person or persons responsible for the murder of 22-year-old Jalen Isaiah Leach.
Leach’s body was found on a walking path behind Brookside Park Apartment Complex on Shaw Avenue’s 500 block in Southern Pines, North Carolina, on May 8, 2018.
Leach had suffered at least one gunshot wound, according to a press release.
